After the Uganda pipeline big score, Tanzania wins another huge regional project, unleashing a new era in the country's efforts to use her strategic position to claim her fame as the East and Central Africa's transport gateway. News that Rwanda has followed Uganda's suit by deciding to switch its multi-billion rail project from the planned Kenyan to Tanzanian route is yet but another victory of the new economic diplomacy foreign policy.
