His Back on Idiots, Magufuli Keeps Delivering on Promises

By Special Correspondent, Dar es Salaam.
12-Feb-2019: Pythagoras once said a fool is known by his speech and a wise man by his silence. All human beings who changed the world counted it a lifetime virtue to keep their mouths shut.

Much has been said and continues to be shouted by a confrontational Tanzanian Member of Parliament (MP), like a dumb idiot, who enjoys demolishing what others sacrificed to build on toils and empty days for the interests of their nation.

While he takes pleasure in vilifying the Tanzanian leader, discounting all historic achievements President John Magufuli has fought so hard to work in only three years of his administration.

Formerly a teacher, Dr Magufuli showcases his gifted virtues of wisdom that makes Magufuli to focus on what is more important and urgent on his table as he focuses on delivering his election promises.

Despite all odds, Tanzania gears up for industrialization to create employments
The defiant MP is touring American and European capitals throwing stones at the President, his Government, the nation and Africa but BBC’s Stephen Sackur asks him, “You don’t like the historic achievements under Magufuli?.” This question should have embarrassed any wise man. By and large, he is not bothered.

In the newest development, President Magufuli’s promise to amend the law on property tax has been delivered. Now, tax will be paid for only one property in the compound holding the same residential title instead of paying for every property.

“We are thankful to our great leader, a very kind person and pro-people leader, for giving us this great relief. We used to pay for every unit on the compound, including servant quarters too. Let him continue to work. He truly delivers. We pray he continues to focus on his delivery let those trotting in the West on free bed and meals continue with their unwise misdeeds, the voters are in Tanzania not in America or Europe,” says Janet Jackson Mushi, a Dar es Salaam resident.

She says if you stop and throw stones at every dog that backs at you; it would take you awhile to reach your destination. She says Tundu Lissu is paid by the West to downgrade the good work performed by President Magufuli.

Historical trends vividly suggest that the West never wants Africa to excel. They always do that to any emerging economy. Lissu has accepted, across history, to remain in books like Judah Iscariot, to be used a vessel in a white man’s hands, a puppet, a surrogate and a stooge to betray his homeland. What a shame. He is, unfortunately, a cheap sellout.

President Magufuli has brought reforms likely to change Tanzania’s status on the world map on the spectrum of economy and general well being of his fellow country people. It is at the backdrop of this speed departure to a much higher ground, the West recruited Lissu and others to shit on this peaceable nation.

The good job President Magufuli continues to do in office, benefits Tanzanians. One philosopher once said; “No matter how good you are, the bird is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway. This describes MP Lissu and the negative history he violently writes.”

I would, encourage President Magufuli to continue focusing to enhance his excellent job performance. This betrayer Tundu Lissu and his accomplices aim to distract and derail Magufuli’s attention. It appears they are unhappy with the lifetime achievements under Magufuli.

This should empower this son of Africa to do more. Tanzania’s peace is important for the region. Carl Hart once said, “I have a hard time arguing with stupid people.” I submit that Magufuli continues to fix his eyes on his reforms whose outcomes shake the world. We are the voters, not whites; it is us in Tanzania who speaks. We are happy with our bulldozer,” she says.

Ms Mushi is right on the mark. Truly, arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. The Founding Father Mwalimu Julius Nyerere warned Africans of imperialists’ lust for African natural resources. They tend to sabotage any development efforts by African Governments.

They go round looking for new surrogates who could destabilize African nations and pave their way to continue exploiting the continent. Tundu Lissu has accepted to surrender in the arms of his former colonial masters, as a surrogate, he rebuffs his nation’s sovereignty.
